The YMCA University of Science and Technology, Faridabad erstwhile YMCA Institute Of Engineering, Faridabad was established in the year 1969, as a joint venture of the National Council Of YMCAs of India, Govt of Haryana, and the Central Agencies for Development Aid, Bonn, Germany. It started as an Indo-German project with an aim to impart technical education to a developing India on German pattern. The labs & workshops have been setup with the assistance of German expertise. In 1996, State Govt. of Haryana took complete control of the Institute and upgraded it to university status in Dec. 2009. The university offers 4-year B.Tech degree course in six disciplines Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Instrumentation Control, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering The university has added four new chapters in it’s glorious history i.e M.C.A, M.Tech. (Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering & Mechanical Engineering), M.Sc. (Physics & Maths) and Ph.D. The University is situated on National Highway-2, Mathura Road, 30 km from National Capital, Delhi. The University campus is located in the sprawling Faridabad-Ballabgarh Industrial complex.

YMCA University of Science and Technology B.Tech/B.Tech (LEET) Admission 2019

At UG level, YMCAUST offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programme emphasizing the area of Engineering and Technology offering Students various specializations. The duration period of the programme is four years. The institute also accepts a second year Lateral entry under the similar specializations holding a duration of three years. The number of seats depends upon the nature of specializations as opted by the Students.

The admission in the B.Tech program is done on the basis of rank secured in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Students who meet the eligibility criteria are only liable to apply for B.Tech course in this college

Admission to the B.Tech lateral course is done through Lateral Entry Entrance Test (LEET)

At Postgraduate level, YMCA University offers Master of Technology (M.Tech) in the area of Engineering and Technology. The M.Tech program is offered with multiple specialization subjects. The duration of all the specialization courses is two years. The number of seats depends upon the nature of specializations as opted by the Students.

Students seeking admission in M.Tech need to appear in General Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Apart from the entrance test, the Student must have qualified his / her Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline with minimum required marks. YMCA University of Science and Technology MBA and MCA Admission 2019

In addition, YMCA offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA) courses also. The duration period of the MBA program is two years whereas the MCA programme holds a duration of three years. The university offers MCA under lateral entry as well.

Admission to the MBA course is preferably through the Common Admission Test (CAT) or Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), but first class engineering graduates are also considered.

For admission to the MCA programme, a Student should have Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with mathematics as the compulsory subject at 12th (10+2) level or at Graduation level such as B.Com /BCA/BA/BSc of minimum three years duration from a recognized university. The Student must have passed with an aggregate of 50% marks.

Admission in the MCA programme is done based on the performance in personal counseling organized by the university.

At PG level, YMCA university offers two other courses in the fields of Science and Arts with multiple specializations. All these programmes hold a duration period of two years.

For admission into the M.A program, a Student needs to be Graduate in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate. In order to get admission to the M.Sc programme, a Student must hold a B.Sc / B.Sc. (Hons.) / B.A./ B.A. (Hons.) with 50% marks in aggregate (47.5% for SC/ST).

The eligible applicants will have to appear in the M.Sc./M.A. Entrance Test followed by a personal counseling.
